Remove the foam covering from the connector as thoroughly as possible.

CAUTION: 

Do not allow remnants of the old foam protector to fall into the B-pillar or on the seat belt retractor area.

Using the new foam wrap (P/N 24271-2P010), wrap the connector such that the entire connector, and any remnants of the old foam is covered
(Figure 4).

NOTE: 

Do not trim the new foam wrap, use the entire foam wrap on the connector.

10.

Re-position the wire harness back into the "B" pillar cavity (Figure 5).

11.

Rotate the white plastic cover back into place, and snap the clip into the "B" pillar.

12.

Install the "B" pillar lower finisher back into position on the "B" pillar.

NOTE: 

Make sure the seat belt is not twisted into the reel mechanism before installing the "B" pillar lower finisher..

13.

Install the rear door opening sill finisher back onto the door sill.

14.

Follow steps 1-13 for the passenger side.

Service Procedure - J30

1.

Move the driver's seat to the most forward position. Tilt the seat-back as far forward as possible.

2.

Remove both left front and left rear door opening sill finishers.
