Completely remove the seat back and set it in a clean area.

Remove the 6 plastic trim parts shown in Figure 27.

If you pay close attention to the position of these trim parts they will be easier to reinstall.

Remove the necessary screws.

Set these trim pieces aside for now.

Remove the seat cushion frame.

37.

Swap the reclining motor to the new seat adjuster assembly.

a.

Remove the 2 bolts.

b.

Remove the reclining motor.

c.

Install the reclining motor on the new seat adjuster assembly.

Use new bolts.

Bolt torque: 9.5 N.m (1.0 Kg-m, 7.0 ft.lb)
