Re-insert the end of the rubber bumper into the "end support" making sure the short side of the bumper is towards the front of the vehicle (see
Figure 7).

Press the rubber bumper down into the roof rack bar groove (see Figure 8).

9.

Insert the other end of the rubber bumper into the end support (see Figure 9).

NOTE: 

Make sure the rubber bumper is fully seated into the roof rack bar groove along its entire length.
