1. Install the wheel cylinder to the backing plate.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .
2. Install the wheel cylinder mounting bolts.
Tighten the wheel cylinder mounting bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
3. Remove the rubber plug from the brake line.
4. Install the brake line to the wheel cylinder.
5. Install the brake line fitting.
Tighten the brake line fitting to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
6. Install the rear brake shoes. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement (See: Drum Brake System/Brake Shoe/Service and Repair) .
7. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) (See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair/Hydraulic Brake System

8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Check the fluid lever in the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling (See: Brake Master Cylinder/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling) .
