SERVICE INFORMATION
A rattle coming from the sunroof area may be caused by the sunroof clips rubbing against the sunshade clips, or against the sunshade finisher. A squeak
may be caused by the headliner rubbing against the sunroof frame at the front and rear sides of the sunroof.
To eliminate clip rattle, install a wavewasher to each sunshade lock and install a new flocked sunshade finisher to the sunshade. To eliminate the squeak,
install tape between the headliner and the sunroof frame. These procedures are described in this Service Bulletin.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Remove sunroof from vehicle.
2.
Remove sunshade from sunroof
3.
Install new sunshade finisher as follows:
a.
Remove old sunshade finisher.
b.
Cut off unflocked end of new finisher, using care not to disfigure the inner wire.
c.
Align. end of finisher with the sunshade center rib. Be sure the side of the finisher with 2 lips faces the back of the sunshade. See Figure 1.
d.
Install finisher, pressing firmly into place around the sunshade. Be sure there is no slackness.
e.
Cut off end of finisher, if necessary, to leave 2-3 mm excess length. Use care not to disfigure the inner wire.
f.
Carefully align ends of finisher closely together for a secure fit
g.
Reinstall sunshade to sunroof.
