2. Put the assembly in a bench press then remove the clip bolt and, while slowly releasing the bench press remove the the center bolt.
3. Remove the spring leaves.
INSTALLATION
1. Attach the spring leaves to the assembly by performing the following:

Apply grease to both faces of each leaf spring.

Align reference marks on each leaf made during removal.

Compress the assembly in a bench press then install the center bolt and tighten it to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
2. After installing the center bolt, attach the clip bolt then attach the spring assembly onto the vehicle.
