Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Description and Operation
KEY-IN IGNITION WARNING
When the key remind switch is closed, battery voltage is applied to the PNK/BLU wire of the warning buzzer control unit. With the left front door open,
ground is provided at the LT GRN/BLK wire of the warning buzzer control unit and the warning buzzer control unit sounds.
SEAT BELT WARNING
With the starter switch in ON or START, battery voltage is applied to the seat belt warning light from fuse C-1O. With the driver's seat belt unbuckled,
ground is provided at the BLU wire of the warning buzzer control unit. With the starter switch in the ON position, the seat belt warning light turns on for
four to eight seconds and the warning buzzer control unit will sound for the same amount of time. With the driver's seat belt buckled, the seat belt
warning light turns on for four to eight seconds, but the warning buzzer control unit does not sound.
LIGHTS-ON WARNING
When the starter switch is turned from the ON or START position to the OFF position, and the park lights are on, the lighting switch applies battery
voltage to the warning buzzer control unit at the GRN/ RED wire. The warning buzzer control unit will sound until the lights are turned off.
