SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Inspect the ATF dipstick presently installed on the vehicle.

a.

If a locking ATF dipstick (shown in Figure 1) is already installed, go to step 2.

b.

If a non-locking ATF dipstick is present, refer to Campaign Bulletin SB93-05-006 (Trooper) or Campaign Bulletin SB93-05-007 (Rodeo)
for instructions on installing a new ATF dipstick and adjusting ATF level.

Figure 2 shows the ATF dipstick warning tag (see "Parts Information" section of this Campaign Bulletin). Use the hook to install the tag to the
dipstick's handle.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

Isuzu dealers are responsible for repairing any affected vehicle at no charge to owners, regardless of date of purchase, mileage or selling dealer.
Whenever a vehicle subject to this campaign is in a dealer's inventory, or arrives at a dealership for service, the dealer must take the necessary steps to
ensure this campaign correction has been made before selling or releasing the vehicle.
