Roof Opening Panel Motor: Service and Repair

Roof Opening Panel Motor (86.76.01)

Removal

1. NOTE:  Make sure the roof opening glass assembly is in the closed position.

Remove the interior light unit.

2. Detach the headliner via the dual locks.

3. Remove the electrical harness cable tie.

4. Disconnect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.

5. Remove the roof opening panel motor.

Installation

1. CAUTION:  If motor oscillation is detected, loosen the motor screws, operate the roof opening panel, then retighten the motor screws. If

necessary repeat this procedure.

NOTE:  Make sure the electrical harness cable tie is replaced.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
