NOTE:
Ensure the bolt, wavy washer, and spacer is assembled in the correct sequence. The wavy washer must be sandwiched between the D-ring and
the spacer. (Figure 3)
13.
Assemble the bolt, wavy washer, and spacer into the D-ring.

* If the wavy washer is damaged, it must be replaced using only a new wavy washer (JLM21834) *.
14.
Push the paper washer into place.
^
If the paper washer is damaged, discard.
15.
Verify the bolt / wavy washer / spacer is assembled in the correct order. (Figure 3)
16.
Install the rear seat belt upper fixing bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 40 Nm (29.5 lbf ft).
17.
Verify smooth operation of the left-hand rear seat belt.
18.
Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) Section 501-05: Interior Trim and Ornamentation to install the left-hand C-pillar lower trim panel.
19.
Carry out steps 1-18 to the right-hand rear seat belt.
