1.

Using a 19 mm socket, remove the nut retaining the right side track rod ball joint in the steering arm of the hub carrier (Illustration 1).

2.

Fit a new nut (part number JLM 582). Torque the nut to 48 lb ft (65 Nm).

3.

Perform the same procedure on the left side of the vehicle.

4.

The displaced nuts MUST be disposed of locally.

Submit claims using normal warranty procedures.

Claims MUST be submitted immediately after completion of the repair to enable Jaguar to monitor this Recall Campaign.

When the repair is completed, call Michael Vercruysse at 201-808-8036. Leave a voice mail message stating the following:
