REPAIR PROCEDURE

INSTALL AMPLIFIER COOLING FAN

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

1.

Disassemble the vehicle for repair as follows:

Refer to GTR Section: 501-10 (76.70.01) and remove passenger front seat

Refer to GTR Section: 501-05 (76.13.73) and remove rear quarter trim panel

^

Refer to GTR Section: 501-10 (76.30.38) and remove rear seat backrest

^

Refer to GTR Section: 501-10 (76.70.37) and remove rear seat cushion

^

Refer to GTR Section: 501-12 (76.25.01) and remove floor console for access only

^

Refer to GTR Section: 501-05 (76.13.31) and remove A-Pillar trim for access only

^

Remove passenger carpet for access.

Remove passenger toe board. (Figure 1)

2.

If the vehicle VIN is before B04688, cut away a section of the fascia insulation layer to create additional space for the fan. (Figure 2)
