Connect link harness C2P 12197 eyelet (black wire color) to the ground stud located at the bottom of the RH A-pillar.

Install nut and tighten to 9 Nm +/- 1.1 Nm (6.6 lbf ft +/- 0.8 lbf ft). (Figure 6)

Overlay excess link harness to main harness branch and tape up to prevent fouls/rattles.

Secure the harness branch and reconnect electrical connector IP052.

^

Perform Step 1 of this procedure in reverse order to reassemble the vehicle.

If the vehicle VIN is after B01509 install the link lead as follows:

Locate the harness connector taped in the harness branch (Middle arrow Figure 7).

NOTE:

The fan assembly is shown off the vehicle in Figure 8 to make the fir tree clip position clear.

Connect the electrical connector to the fan fly lead.

^

Secure the fir tree clip to the hole in fan bracket. (Figure 8)
