Front Cross-Member: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Place the cradle on a suitable lifting device, then raise the engine cradle into the vehicle while lining up the engine mount through bolts.
NOTE: Refer to the reference marks made during cradle removal procedure and align the cradle to those marks.
2. Install the cradle mounting bolts and tighten the front bolts to 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.) and tighten the rear bolts to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.).
3. Tighten the engine mount through bolts to 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the steering gear, See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Steering Gear - Installation.
5. Install the front axle, if equipped, .
6. Install the stabilizer bar, See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Front Stabilizer Bar - Installation.
