Sky Slider Headliner Sagging Or Hanging Too Low
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the Velcro hook strip along the front and rear headers. It will be necessary to replace both the front and rear hook strip,
even if only one end is sagging/hanging.

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a Sky Slider sunroof (sales code GWH) built before September 11, 2008 (MDH 0911XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The vehicle operator may experience a headliner that is sagging at the front or rear of the headliner.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the vehicle operator experiences the Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
SPECIAL TOOLS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Open the Sky Slider about 30 inches.
2.
Remove two push-pins holding the Headliner to the Retainer at the outboard ends.
CAUTION:
Be sure that the push pin is completely removed. A loose piece of the push pin can become dislodged and cause damage to the drive system.
