Fuel Injector Components

Remove the injector retaining screws, and the retainer.

Using a small pair of pliers, carefully lift at the center of the injector, and loosen the injector by rocking it back and forth. Do not twist the injector
to free it, because it has a locating tab that fits into a slot in the throttle body bore. After the injector is removed discard both injector "O" rings
and the old centering ring.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: To avoid damage to the lower injector O-ring, when installing the fuel injector, use injector installation tool # 6172.
