Description
This bulletin provides a repair procedure for replacing the radiator cap on 2006 Rio/Rio5 vehicles built from 6/20/2005 to 1/16/2006. Certain radiator
caps installed on vehicles within the affected range may not release at the proper pressure resulting in a coolant leak at the upper or lower radiator hoses.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE:
1.
Open hood and check for SC058 Campaign Completion Label at the rear of the left strut tower as shown.

If label exists, NO FURTHER ACTION IS REQUIRED.

If label DOES NOT EXIST, continue on to REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE.
2006 Rio vehicles with production dates from 6/20/05 through 1/16/06.
