Be sure to "mark" the front and rear drive shaft flanges at the transfer case and the front differential to ensure proper reinstallation of the
balanced drive shaft.

Loosen the cooler line flare nuts from the transmission cooler fittings.

* NOTICE

Place an oil drip pan directly under the cooler line fittings.

4.

Remove (and keep) the two (2) cooler line support clamp nuts and clamps from the transmission housing and engine block brackets.

5.

Disconnect the cooler line flare nuts and position the cooler line ends over the oil drip pan and allow the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) to
drain from the cooler lines.

6.

Remove (and keep) the four (4) front undercover panel bolts then remove the panel.
