SUBJECT:
Sportage Automatic Transmission Cooler Lines
This bulletin provides information about changes to the Sportage automatic transmission cooler lines and includes automatic transmission cooler line
replacement procedures.
Some 1995 Sportage models with automatic transmissions may be experiencing fluid leaks from the automatic transmission cooler lines. The fluid may
be leaking through small cracks in the flared end of the cooler lines at the transmission which develops because of cooler line vibration.
The automatic transmission cooler lines for 1996 Sportage models have been changed to incorporate flexible hoses between the cooler line fittings and
these lines should be used to repair 1995 models with leaking transmission cooler lines.
