Shift Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
SOLENOIDS
Inspection
1. Disconnect the connector from the TCM.
2. Measure the resistance between ground and pins 8, 7 and 22.
Resistance should be between 11 - 15 Ohms (at 68°F [20°C])
3. Apply battery positive voltage to pins 8, 7 and 22. Verify that a solenoid operation noise (click) can be heard from the applicable solenoid valve at
the transmission oil pan.
