PROCEDURE

Perform the diagnostic procedures and repairs outlined for the repair of audio noise at turn on.

REMOVAL

1.

Make sure the radio security code is available.

2.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.

Remove radio with removal tool RTC7657.

4.

Disconnect the electrical connectors and antenna lead from back of the radio.

5.

Remove radio.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: 

Make sure that the antenna lead is connected to the main antenna input.
