Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair

Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner 

Service Repair No - 86.10.06

Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. 
2. Remove the generator drive belt. 

3. Remove the generator drive belt tensioner.

Remove the generator drive belt tensioner bolt.

Installation 

1. Install the generator drive belt tensioner.

Clean the component mating faces.

^

Tighten the bolt to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

2. Install the generator drive belt. 
3. Connect the battery ground cable.
