CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation: The condenser fan may exhibit a high level of noise in high ambient temperature conditions at low vehicle speeds or while standing still. This
may be caused by the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) condenser fan duty command to the Engine Control Module (ECM).
*NOTE:
Vehicles that have had Q089 completed will not require the update outlined below; it is included in Q089.*
Action: In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to update the ECM and HVAC control module
software.

IDS with IDS-DVD121_V6.01 or later and Calibration 30 or later Land Rover-Approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply

RECONFIGURE THE ECM AND HVAC CONTROL MODULE
CAUTION:
Ensure all ignition 'ON' / ignition 'OFF' requests are carried out; failure to perform these steps may cause damage to control modules in the vehicle.
