Separate the two halves of the vent by disengaging the plastic clips (Figure 7).
NOTE:
Ensure that the tape covers the vent flap pivot holes.

Apply anti-rattle tape to the underside of the inner portion of the vent assembly.
4.
Reassemble vent.
5.
Reinstall the vent into the dashboard.
