Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair

Service Repair No - 76.73.72

Remove

WARNING: Always disconnect negative lead from battery first. Disconnection of positive lead with negative lead connected risks short circuit
and severe sparking through accidental grounding of spanner. Personal injury could result.

1. Disconnect both battery terminals.
2. Remove centre console.
3. Lift rear of sound deadener pad from transmission tunnel.

5. Release 2 multiplugs from bracket.
6. Remove 2 bolts securing DCU to bracket. Remove DCU.

Refit

7. Reverse removal procedure.
