5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

Body/Service and Repair/Removal

8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT
9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE

10. REMOVE NO. 4 RELAY BLOCK

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and relay block.

11. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2WD)
12. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 4WD)
13. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Coolant/Service and Repair
14. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY See: Radiator/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
15. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
16. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
17. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT
18. REMOVE FAN SHROUD WITH FAN AND MOTOR

(a) Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector.

(b) Detach the 3 claws, and then remove the fan shroud with fan and motor.
