(d) Put matchmarks on the front suspension toe adjusting cam and front frame assembly.
(e) Put matchmarks on the front suspension No. 2 toe adjusting plate and front frame assembly.

(f) Remove the nut, front suspension No. 2 toe adjusting plate and bolt.
(g) Remove the front suspension toe adjusting cam and the front suspension lower arm LH.

8. DISCONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal
9. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal

10. DISCONNECT TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal
11. DISCONNECT FRONT NO. 1 SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal
12. DISCONNECT FRONT NO. 2 SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal
13. REMOVE STEERING KNUCKLE LH See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Removal
14. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the clip and nut.
(b) Install 2 spacers (SST spacer A) onto the front lower ball joint assembly LH so that there is a space of approximately 1 mm (0.0394 in.)

between the arm and spacers.

NOTICE:
-

Make sure to install the spacers (SST spacer A) as the steering knuckle spacer may shift.

-

As SST may become damaged, make sure the space between the arm and spacers is not less than 1 mm (0.0394 in.).

(c) Using SST, disconnect the front No. 2 suspension lower arm assembly LH from the steering knuckle.
