module. Match the electrical connector key to the keyway in the passenger air bag module. Do not force the electrical connectors into the
passenger air bag module. Damage to the connector or component may occur.
NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
With the locking buttons released, install the passenger air bag module electrical connectors fully into the passenger air bag module and seat the
locking buttons.
2. CAUTION: Do not handle the passenger air bag module by grabbing the edges of the deployment door. Damage to the air bag module
may occur.
NOTE: During air bag module installation, make sure all the deployment door clips are fully seated in the instrument panel.
Install the passenger air bag module into the instrument panel.
3. Install the 2 passenger air bag module bolts.

Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in)
4. Align the 2 clips and install the instrument panel trim panel.
5. Install the RH instrument panel trim panel 5 nuts.
6. Install the instrument panel end panel.
7. Attach the door dampener cable and close the glove compartment door.
8. Repower the SRS.
