Removal and Installation
CAUTION: When repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the
power steering components can result.
CAUTION: Prior to removing the power steering pump supply hose, remove the power steering fluid reservoir from power steering fluid
reservoir mounting bracket or damage may occur to the reservoir.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist.
2. Using a suitable suction device, siphon the power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir.
3. Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering return hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.
