Adjusting The CB Radio

Insure that the antenna and feeder are properly adjusted.

Make the necessary adjustment by using an SWR (standing wave ratio) meter.

CAUTION - Power Amplifier Installation

Do not install a power amplifier or an excessively powerful mobile two-way radio (more than 10W).

Grounded Shield

Make sure the control units are properly grounded. Cover the control units with a grounded steel or aluminum shield if it is deemed
necessary.

NOTE:
If a mobile two-way radio which requires constant current for memory etc. is used, the engine should be started and run everyday to
prevent the battery from discharging. If the vehicle is not to be operated for an extended period, the constant current to the two-way radio
should be disconnected.
