Modified Protector Gasket on High-Mounted Stop Light
DESCRIPTION
The protector gasket on the high-mounted stop light may be discolored from a reaction within the material of which the gasket is made. To prevent this
problem, the protector material has been changed since August, 1985 production.
Should the customer complain about a discoloration of this protector gasket, follow the instructions in this bulletin to replace it and clean the glass.
VIN OF PRODUCTION CHANGE
NOTE:
Vehicles equipped with the modified protector gasket can be identified by a green sticker located on the underside of the stop lamp housing.
