Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect positive battery cable.
3. Wait one minute. This is the time required for back-up power supply in the air bag diagnostic monitor to deplete its stored energy.
4. Remove in the order shown.
5. Inspect or replace parts as necessary.
6. Install in reverse order of removal. Tighten retaining screws to 10.2-13.8 N.m (1.1-1.3 kg f.m/8-10 lb-ft).

Remove white connector by prying plastic caps out of hole in sheet metal.
