Installation of the repair kit requires the following action:
A.
Modification of Main Fuse Box
B.
Connection to Vehicle Front Harness
C.
Installation of Redesigned Blower Motor Relay
D.
Modification of Vehicle Relay Box
Procedures for the above (A through D) are detailed in this bulletin.
VIN OF PRODUCTION CHANGE
A. Modification of Main Fuse Box
1.
Remove the negative battery terminal. Figure 2.
2.
Remove the heater fuse. Figure 3.
NOTE:
Refer to main fuse case cover for the location of heater fuse.
3.
Remove the two (2) nuts that secure the main fuse case to the mounting bracket.
