3. Remove the bearing collar.
Bearing Disassembly Note
1. Set the SSTs as shown in the figure.
2. Verify that the SST is securely grasping the bearing and that the axle shaft passes through the center of the SST. Adjust if necessary.
3. Spray a rust penetrating agent on the sliding surfaces indicated in the figure to prevent friction burns.
4. Tighten the bolt on the SST to remove the bearing.
Hub Bolt Disassembly Note
NOTE:

The hub bolts do not need to be removed unless you are replacing them.

Remove the hub bolts by using a press if necessary.

Install the new hub bolts by using a press.
