Install hose assembly to P/S pump temporarily.
a)
Install high pressure hose to P/S pump temporarily.
b)
After putting hose clamp onto low pressure hose, connect the hose to the suction pipe and secure it with the hose clamp.
3.
Install P/S pump and P/S pipe assembly at the engine side.
NOTE:
Before installing pump, place pulley on pump shaft; otherwise it is impossible to install pulley because of very small gap between the shaft and
body.
Install P/S pump on pump bracket.
4.
Install pulley on P/S pump.
Install pulley on pump with screwdriver inserted in service hole and tighten mount nut.

Install hose bracket on pump bracket.
NOTE:
When installing the bracket, be sure to secure pump bracket flange to stopper.
Tightening Torque:
37 - 52 N-m, 3.8 - 5.3 m-kg, 27.5 - 38.3 ft.lb.

6A. Vehicle with A/C
Install A/C compressor.
a)
Install compressor on bracket.
b)
Install V-belt and adjust it.
