Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect brake tubing and electrical connector at hydraulic unit. Note positions for installation reference.
2. Remove bands and clips from electrical wiring attendant to hydraulic unit, then remove stud nuts securing hydraulic unit to mounting bracket.
3. Lift hydraulic unit out of vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque hydraulic unit to mounting bracket stud nuts to 14 - 16 ft.lb.
b. Torque brake tubing fittings to 10 - 15 ft.lb.
c. Bleed brake system.
