Timing Belt: Service and Repair

No.3 Engine Mount Bracket

Support the engine by using the Special Service Tool (SST), or equivalent Pulley Boss.
Pulley Boss, Timing Belt
NOTE: Mark the timing belt rotation on the belt for proper reinstallation.
1. By using the Special Service Tool (SST), remove the pulley lock bolt.
2. Remove the pulley boss.
CAUTION: The following will damage the belt and shorten its life. Forcefully twisting it, turning it inside out, or allowing oil or grease on it.
3. Loosen the tensioner pulley lock bolt.
