a. If the build date matches one from the table, check the condition of the transmission fluid and replace the solenoid body lead frame and 055
sensor.
NOTE:

When replacing the solenoid body lead frame, inspect the build date on the new part. Do not use a solenoid body lead frame with a build date
listed in the table.

When replacing the solenoid body lead frame, you must reprogram the Solenoid Body ID number and strategy number into the PCM using
Solenoid Body Strategy Data Download procedure with the M-MDS. Refer to MS3 online instructions or Workshop manual section 05-01
SOLENOID BODY STRATEGY.

Make sure to use the solenoid body ID number and strategy number on the replacement solenoid body connector or the replacement solenoid
body tag that comes with the replacement solenoid body lead frame.

Make sure to install the service tag over the old service tag on the transmission case for future reference.
b. If the solenoid body lead frame build date does not match one from the table, only replace the OSS sensor.
5. Verify repair.
