Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Service and Repair
DIGITAL TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair/Lifting.
3.0L engine
1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. See - See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Intake Air Duct/Service and
Repair/Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe Removal/Installation.
2.5L engine
1. Remove the ACL outlet pipe. See - See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Intake Air Duct/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner
Outlet Pipe Removal/Installation.
All vehicles
1. Remove the retainers and the LH splash shield.
3.0L engine
1. Remove the retainers and the RH splash shield.
