Replacement/Spring Removal/Installation [Rear Suspension].

2. Remove and discard the rear wheel hub nut.

3. Remove the anti-lock brake sensor harness-to-body retainer bolt.

4. Remove the nut and separate the lower ball joint.

NOTE:Support the wheel knuckle. 

5. Remove the 4 differential housing-to-front insulator bracket bolts.

6. Remove the 3 side insulator bracket-to-rear axle differential bolts.

7. Remove the rear differential mount-to-subframe bolt and nut.

8. Using the Halfshaft Remover Tool, remove the halfshaft from the differential.

CAUTION:Do not damage the oil seal when removing the axle halfshaft from the differential.
NOTE:Support the halfshaft inner joint.

9. Using the Front Hub Remover, separate the halfshaft from the rear axle hub assembly.

Remove the halfshaft.
