1. Using the Halfshaft Installer, install the outer halfshaft end into the hub assembly.

2. Using the Axle Seal Protector, install the halfshaft into the differential.

CAUTION:Make sure that the oil seal protector is correctly aligned with the differential oil seal during installation. 

3. If the axle is equipped with the oil seal protector, make sure the oil seal lip and seal protector are correctly aligned.

4. Install the rear differential mount-to-subframe bolt and nut.

Tighten to 133 Nm {13.5 kgf-m, 98 ft-lbf}.

5. Install the 3 side insulator bracket-to-rear axle differential bolts. 

-

Tighten to 90 Nm {9.1 kgf-m, 66 ft-lbf}.

6. Install the 4 differential housing-to-front insulator bracket bolts. 

-

Tighten to 90 Nm {9.1 kgf-m, 66 ft-lbf}.

7. Position the lower ball joint and install the lower ball joint nut.

Tighten to 103 Nm {10.5 kgf-m, 76 ft-lbf}.
