Trailer Lamps: Component Tests and General Diagnostics
1. Verify the customer concern by operating the trailer tow lights.
2. Verify the exterior lighting system of the vehicle is operating correctly. If not, refer to the appropriate pinpoint test.

3. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.
4. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to TROUBLESHOOTING INDEX - TRAILER LAMPS.
