Adjust rear fender and trunk lid edge surfaces flush to one another by adjusting the trunk lid hinges (arrows, Figure 6), ensuring a gap of approx. 5
mm between trunk lid and left and right fender edge is maintained (arrows, Figure 5).

Tighten left and right trunk lid hinge mounting screws (arrows, Figure 6).

7.

Adjust latch tongue (11, Figure 7) 50 the lock mechanism latches without any resistance when the latch tongue is entering the lock mechanism (see
Figure 4, section C).

8.

Tighten trunk lid latch mechanism mounting screws (10, Figure 7).

Tightening torque:
10 Nm.

9.

Loosen lock mechanism mounting screws (2 and 3, Figure 8).

Note: 

Do not loosen lock cylinder screw (8, Figure 8)
