Remove switch mounting screw (10, Figure 1).

3.

Remove switch cover (20, Figure 1) and remove microswitch (S88/3s1, Figure 1).

4.

Install in reverse order.

Adjusting microswitch (installed)

1.

Connect multimeter (01, Figure 1) according to illustration and set for acoustic continuity test.

2.

Manually position latch tongue (100, Figure 1) in the closed position.

3.

Move switch S88/3s1 towards actuating lever (50, Figure 1) until acoustic continuity signal is emitted by the multimeter.

4.

Move manual operation switch (30, Figure 1) back into the vertical position.

5.

Pull lever (60, Figure 1) towards microswitch, thereby extending latch tongue and shutting off multimeter acoustic continuity signal

Damage code: 75 025 41 Trunk lid latch (includes microswitch), adjust
