Warning when driver is not wearing seat belt

If the driver's seat belt is not fastened after closing the left door (door contact switches S17/3 and S17/4 open) and starting the ignition, a warning tone
4-8 seconds. Fastening the seat belt, sounds for interrupts the power supply to the left front seat belt buckle and belt reminder switch (S68/1) and the
warning buzzer is switched off.

Seat belt reminder lamp

The seat belt/backrest lock reminder lamp (A1e9) is integrated into the instrument cluster (A1) to remind the driver to fasten the seat belt. The lamp
flashes for approx. 5 seconds after starting the engine irrespective of whether the driver has fastened the seat belt or not. The reminder lamp is actuated
via terminal 15 and the electronic circuit of the instrument cluster. If the backrest is not locked, the reminder lamp (A1e9) lights up in the instrument
cluster (A1) for longer than 5 seconds. After approx. 20 seconds an intermittent warning tone is generated by the left or right backrest lock safety
package (N32/7 or N32/8).

Door open warning

If the driver does not remove the key from the steering lock before opening the door (door contact switches S17/3 and S14/4 closed), the warning buzzer
in the seat belt warning module (N2/4) is triggered via terminal 15C of the ignition/start switch and a constant warning buzzer sounds.

Lights on and door open warning

If the driver leaves on the high beam, low beam or side lights, removes the key and opens a door, a warning buzzer sounds. The buzzer is controlled via
fuse 1, terminal 58R to headlamp rotary switch terminal 30 input, output terminal K to the seat belt warning module (N2/4).
