Cruise Control Linkage

Verify that the final control element contacts the idle speed stop of the cruise control. To do so, disconnect pushrod (21) from lever (14) and push
the lever of the control element clockwise against the idle speed stop.  

12.

Reconnect the pushrod (21) and ensure that the lever of the control element is lifted by approx. 3/64 in. (1 mm) off the idle speed stop. If
necessary adjust rod (21) to attain the proper setting.
