12. Connect tester to connection A of switchover valve (14) and evacuate. Permissible values of vacuum should be maintained. If tester shows a

pressure increase, a defect on switchover valve is indicated.

13. Check electric function of valve by connecting valve to voltage. Valve will open. Readout on tester moves back to zero.

14. Connect tester to connection B. Close connection A with blind plug. Apply voltage and evacuate. Permissible values of vacuum should be

maintained.

15. Remove voltage on switchover valve. Readout on tester returns to zero.
16. Connect tester to connection C. Apply voltage and evacuate. Permissible values of vacuum should he maintained.
