Remove connector 1 from the Digital Tele-Aid Module (N123/4) (Figure 1). 

Note:

Connector 1 (Figure 1) may be either black or blue in color.

Open the pin housing on the harness side of the connector to determine if pin 14 is occupied.

a.

If there is no wire going to pin 14 (Figure 2) on the connector to Digital Tele-Aid (N123/4) then proceed to step 7.

b.

If pin 14 is occupied verify that the wire on pin 14 goes to pin 3 (violet wire) of the connector to the linear compensator (A28/3) and pin 28
(violet wire) of the Universal Handy Interface (N123/1). If it does not, contact the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for further diagnostic
assistance.

Install Repair Cable Harness (part number A203 440 32 07)
