Tilt Wheel Switch: Description and Operation

On The Front Passenger's Door

The steering column adjustment switches are located in the front door near the interior door unlocking mechanism in the trim.

Design

The various switches are accommodated in a single housing. They can be used to adjust the seat and the steering column, and to store and call up three
positions in memory. The different switch states are scanned by the door control module and voltage-coded.

The various steering column adjustment switches allow the steering column to be adjusted to the desired position.
