By hand follow the positive cable into the interior of the right fender and there after apply the supplied felt pads (5) into the area (of the fender
panel) where the positive battery cable may contact the interior of the right fender panel (arrows, Figure 2).

Next slide the supplied corrugated protection sleeve over the positive battery cable. Ensure that the slit opening (arrow, Figure 3) of the corrugated
protection sleeve faces to the inside of the trunk area, after being installed onto the positive battery cable.

Reposition the positive battery cable onto the positive battery terminal and recheck the proper routing of the positive battery cable so that the
corrugated protection sleeve and the felt pads provide the necessary chaffing protection of the battery positive cable where it may come in contact
with the interior of the right fender panel. Tighten positive battery cable clamp at the battery.

Re-assembly is done in reverse order.
